Installing BulkOps on your Shopify store

2 min read

Step 1 — Go to the Shopify App Store

Visit [apps.shopify.com/bulkops](https://apps.shopify.com/bulkops) and click Add app.

Step 2 — Log in to your Shopify store

You'll be prompted to enter your store's myshopify.com URL and log in with your Shopify admin credentials.

Step 3 — Review and approve permissions

BulkOps requests the following access:

  • Read and write products — required to execute bulk edits
  • Read orders — required for profit metric calculations
  • Read store information — required to configure the app for your store's currency and timezone
  • Click Install app to approve.

Step 4 — Wait for initial sync

BulkOps syncs a copy of your product data to enable fast bulk operations, version history, and undo. For most stores this takes under 2 minutes. Larger stores (10,000+ products) may take up to 10 minutes.

You'll see a progress bar in the app during the initial sync. You can continue using Shopify normally while BulkOps syncs in the background.

Step 5 — Start your first bulk edit

Once sync is complete, click Products in the BulkOps navigation to open the bulk editor.

    Troubleshooting installation

"App not compatible with your store" — BulkOps requires Shopify Basic or above. It does not work on Shopify Starter (formerly Lite).

Installation seems to hang — Try refreshing the Shopify admin. If the issue persists, email [hello@bulkops.ai](mailto:hello@bulkops.ai).
