The math

The eight-app stack adds up fast.

Priced individually — even at mid-tier plans — the tools BulkOps replaces run about $182 a month, and far more at scale. The $39 Growth plan does nearly all of it — roughly a fifth of the stack — and it starts at just $15 for a small store. One connected app.

Pricing questions

Does BulkOps slow down my storefront?+

No. BulkOps runs entirely in the Shopify admin and interacts with the Shopify API directly. It has zero impact on your storefront speed or theme. No scripts are injected into your storefront.

What happens when my product count exceeds the plan limit?+

BulkOps will clearly show you when you're approaching your plan limit and suggest an upgrade. Existing products are always safe — we never delete data. You just won't be able to add new products to bulk operations until you upgrade.

Can I try BulkOps before paying?+

Yes — the Free plan has no time limit and works for up to 50 products. All paid plans (Starter, Growth, Pro) include a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. You can also get an annual plan with 2 months free.

Do you offer discounts for agencies managing multiple stores?+

Yes. Agencies with 5+ stores get a custom pricing arrangement. Contact us at support@bulkops.ai and we'll set you up with a partner account.

What Shopify plans does BulkOps support?+

BulkOps works with all Shopify plans — Basic, Shopify, Advanced, and Plus. It also works on development stores with no product limits.

How does the AI content generation work, and is it free to try?+

BulkOps connects to Claude AI to generate product descriptions, SEO titles, meta descriptions, and structured metafields in bulk. It's credit-based and works on every plan — including Free. When you install, you get $1 in free AI credits to try it (about 100 operations at 1¢ each). Growth and Pro also include monthly credits (200 and 1,000), and you can top up anytime; purchased credits never expire.

Which eight apps does BulkOps actually replace?+

BulkOps folds eight categories of Shopify app into one: (1) a bulk product editor (Ablestar/Hextom), (2) backup & restore (Rewind, for products), (3) formula & margin pricing, (4) profit analytics (BeProfit/Lifetimely), (5) AI product content, (6) a sale/campaign scheduler, (7) a metafields bulk editor (Accentuate), and (8) CSV import/export (Matrixify). Priced individually those run about $182/mo across separate bills and dashboards; the Growth plan does nearly all of it for $39, starting at $15.

Why is BulkOps described as built for D2C?+

Direct-to-consumer brands live or die on margin and catalog quality, and they move fast — frequent price changes, seasonal drops, constant product edits. BulkOps is designed around that loop: deterministic D2C net-profit pricing, true per-order profit, a snapshot before every change, and AI to keep listings complete. It connects editing, pricing, backup, and profit so a small team can keep the whole catalog on autopilot — which is exactly how D2C operators work.

How do I migrate from Ablestar, Rewind, BeProfit and the rest?+

You don't need a big migration. Install BulkOps, let it sync your catalog (usually under two minutes), and turn on the pieces you need — formula pricing, scheduled campaigns, backups, profit. Because BulkOps reads your live Shopify data, there's nothing to export/import between tools. Most merchants run BulkOps alongside their old stack for a few days, confirm everything's covered, then uninstall the others and stop the extra bills.

Will BulkOps help my products show up in AI shopping channels?+

Yes. Shoppers increasingly discover products through AI assistants, and those channels surface products with complete, structured data. BulkOps scores every product for AI-readiness, then lets AI backfill the missing metafields, titles, and descriptions in bulk — so your catalog is eligible to be recommended, not skipped. New products can be made AI-ready automatically on creation.

How is formula pricing different from a discount or sale app?+

A discount app takes a price you already set and knocks a percentage off. Formula pricing sets the price itself from your costs — cost × 2.5, a target margin, a full cost-stack including shipping and fees, or tiered rules by cost band — and applies it across thousands of SKUs with a full preview first. It's deterministic and margin-safe: you're never guessing whether a sale still leaves you profitable.
