What is auto-revert and how does it work?

Auto-revert lets you run a temporary price change — a flash sale, a weekend promo, a Black Friday drop — that puts itself back to the original prices when the window ends. You set it once; BulkOps.ai handles both the start and the finish.

How it works

When you schedule a pricing change you can set two times:

  • Start — when the new (sale) prices go live.
  • End — when they should stop. If auto-revert is on, BulkOps.ai restores each product to the exact price it had before the sale.
Start — sale price End — auto-revert Sale window — prices held automatically base price base price

Set it up

  1. Create your price change and open Scheduled Operations.
  2. Set a start time for the sale.
  3. Set an end time and turn on auto-revert.
  4. Confirm. A snapshot of current prices is captured so the revert is exact.

The revert is a restore, not a re-calculation. BulkOps.ai puts back the precise pre-sale price per product — even if some prices were unusual — because it saved them before the sale started.

Good to know

  • If you edit a product’s price manually during the sale, revert still restores the pre-sale snapshot — re-check anything you changed by hand.
  • Leave the end time off to run an open-ended change you will revert yourself later from Change History.
